Wow here we are again! Starting another school year with Baker Charter Schools.  We are super excited for this year and looking forward to another year working with our amazing families.  There are new teachers, new curriculum, new programs and much more for this year.  We are always seeking to improve and make our program better to meet the needs of our families.  Thank you for choosing our school BCS families!

Remodel and Renew!

The first of the year has come! In 2013 our students will achieve many wonderful things! Our schools are going in very positive directions right now.  We are excited to be here serving the community and state of Oregon.  We are also excited about our remodeled classroom space in Baker City.  Our local classroom where students go to learn everyday has been cleaned up and renewed.  I want to give much credit to Stephanie Spaugh for her vision and hard work to help get the project completed.  Also many thanks to Ben Merrill our new principal who spear headed the vision.  For our local staff who donated hours and hours to setting up the room, painting, etc I give my thanks!  Our students are lucky to have such amazing folks. 

Well this is it! First day of school! First visits are under way and 2012-2013 school year has officially begun. We had an ambitious summer taking on new staff, new curriculum, and new technology. We hope all of these changes will make our students/parents experience better and more rewarding! Have a wonderful first official day of school!

August 31st, 2012- First Entry

Well the year is officially underway Tuesday September 4th, 2012.  So I thought I would initiate the first blog for Baker Charter Schools.  We are pushing the schools to the next level of service, technology, and meeting student/parents needs this year!  It is going to be an amazing ride.  We have built an amazing team of staff and powerful curriculum products to empower your children.  Let's get this thing going!!
